The aim is to bring fitness to as many South Africans through the help of simple to use tools, a gym designed out of a container box
The Foundation is a vehicle through which GIAB can partner with other stakeholders and companies to achieve its overall vision of offering South Africans the ability to access and engage with fitness
After meeting LIV while showcasing at the 2016 International AIDS Conference in Durban, we decided to pay them a visit as they had expressed a keen interest in the GYM IN A BOX. Their incredible story and vision, especially where they wanted to go with sport meant that the GYM IN A BOX would provide the Foundation for all sport
The sport conditioning at LIV is headed up by Menzi Ngidi who previously worked at the Sharks Academy and firmly believes that sport can bring people together, cultivate healthy competitiveness and allow for character building
Sport is growing at LIV with the GYM IN A BOX being used as the strength and conditioning base for all sports. The facility is also made available to the caregivers and volunteers who have all embraced a healthier lifestyle thereby allowing them the opportunity to improve lives
We have created a solution to promote health and wellness and speaks directly to the challenges of South Africa
